On September 12, Pezuela de las Torres will celebrate the first edition of the Trail de la Picota, an event that combines sport, nature, and heritage. This event is part of the Tierras del Tajuña Trail Series, which includes several races in the region.
The route, measuring 10 kilometres with a positive elevation gain of 261 metres, is designed to explore some of the most unique corners of the municipality's natural surroundings. Those who prefer a slower pace can join in the walking category.
The start will be from the Plaza del pueblo, making the urban area the meeting point for runners, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Under the slogan “Run our history”, the event invites participants to discover Pezuela from a different perspective, traversing paths that connect history, nature, and personal achievement.
Registrations are now open and can be completed through the website sportradio.es. The Town Hall encourages residents and visitors to participate in this first edition and to enjoy a day of sport and camaraderie in a privileged setting.
