The 7th edition of La Churrigueresca will take place on August 29 in Nuevo Baztán, starting at 20:30 from Plaza del Señorío. There will be two categories: Trail 10K and Walkers.
The municipality of Nuevo Baztán will host the 7th edition of La Churrigueresca on August 29, a nighttime event that combines sport, nature, and historical heritage. The organisers expect this event to once again attract runners and walkers from across the Community of Madrid.
The race will commence at 20:30 hours with a start from Plaza del Señorío. The route will pass through paths, wooded areas, and the monumental surroundings of the historic site, which will be illuminated by the light of dusk and night.
Participants can choose between two categories: Trail 10K, priced at €16.00, and Walkers, for €12.00. Both options share a positive elevation gain of +158 metres, a challenge accessible to most enthusiasts.
This event, which has become a classic in the local sports calendar, aims to provide a unique experience in an environment marked by history and nature. Residents of Nuevo Baztán and nearby municipalities will enjoy a festive day that combines physical effort and the discovery of local heritage.
Registrations are open, and it is expected that, as in previous editions, they will sell out before the deadline. The organisers recommend that interested parties secure their spot in advance and come equipped with appropriate clothing and footwear for nighttime sports activities.
