The Palace of Infante D. Luis will host the III Luigi Boccherini Festival from September 11 to 19, featuring concerts and lectures with free entry.
The Town Hall of Boadilla del Monte has scheduled the III Luigi Boccherini Festival from September 11 to 19, a cultural event dedicated to the Italian composer, closely linked to the musical history of the municipality.
The concerts and lectures will take place at the Palace of Infante D. Luis at 7:30 PM, with free entry until full capacity is reached.
The festival will kick off on September 11 with the lecture Luigi Boccherini in Spanish Musical Classicism, presented by Germán Labrador López de Azcona.
On the following day, September 12, the theatrical concert Concert for an Infant will be held, featuring some of Boccherini's most famous compositions.
The festival will resume on September 17 with the lecture Music and Courtly Festivities in the Time of Infante D. Luis, led by Miguel Ángel García Valero.
On September 18, it will be the turn of the piano concert At the Court of Boccherini: Music for Keyboard, performed by Mario Prisuelos.
The program will conclude on September 19 with the chamber concert Boccherini in Boadilla, which will include works by Luigi Boccherini and Juan Crisóstomo Arriaga.
