The Town Hall of Boadilla del Monte has organized a family treasure hunt to commemorate International Tourism Day. The activity will take place on Sunday 27 at the Palace of Infante D. Luis, with free entry until capacity is reached.
The Palace of Infante D. Luis in Boadilla del Monte will host a family treasure hunt on 27th September to commemorate International Tourism Day. The initiative, promoted by the Town Hall of Boadilla del Monte as part of the patron saint festivities, aims to explore local heritage through clues, puzzles, and observation challenges.
The route will include the esplanade and the Fountain of the Three Pipes, the chapel and kitchen of the palace, the gardens, the orchards, the pond, and the waterwheel, as well as the Bird House. The activity will take place in two shifts, from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:30, with free entry until capacity is reached.
According to the Town Hall, the proposal combines fun and outdoor learning and aims to encourage collaboration between young and old and teamwork. The challenges are designed to spark curiosity about local history, its monuments, characters, and traditions while families explore the palace complex.
The initiative also aims to raise awareness among participants about the importance of respecting and preserving the historical and cultural heritage of Boadilla del Monte so that future generations can continue to enjoy it.
The activity will allow participants to learn about the history and heritage of the municipality in a fun and engaging way,” the Town Hall states.
The treasure hunt is part of the patron saint festivities of Boadilla del Monte. No prior registration is required: access will be free until the venue reaches capacity.
