Las Rozas closes the International Piano Competition dedicated to Mompou

The 26th International Piano Competition of Spanish Composers, dedicated to Federico Mompou, will close on November 14 at the Joaquín Rodrigo Auditorium in Las Rozas. Tickets go on sale in September.

The Joaquín Rodrigo Auditorium in Las Rozas will host the closing concert of the 26th International Piano Competition of Spanish Composers (CIPCE) on November 14, which this year will be dedicated to Federico Mompou, one of the most significant figures in 20th-century Spanish music.

The competition will take place from November 8 to 14 and will bring together young pianists from various countries. The repertoire will be tailored to the level of each category and will serve to promote the performance of Spanish music among new generations of performers.

The closing concert will begin at 20:00 hours and will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is aimed at all audiences.

Tickets will cost 10 euros, with a discount of 7 euros for those under 16 and over 65. Advance sales through Tu Butaca will start on September 9, and general sales will begin on September 16.
