The Pérez de la Riva Cultural Centre in Las Rozas has been hosting a seminar on 19th century Madrid, when the city underwent profound changes following the arrival of the liberal regime. The series, titled 'That Madrid of the Romantics and Liberals', will run until December 15.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 18:00. The seminar includes 6 specialised classes and 4 cultural visits around the city of Madrid, which will take place between October and December. The price is 96 euros (flat rate) and is open to all audiences.

The lectures and visits will be conducted by Rafael Gili Ruiz and Fernando Velasco Medina, Doctors in History, Members of the Institute of Madrilenian Studies (CSIC) and researchers of the Madrid Historical Studies Team at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The programme aims to delve into that Madrid through emblematic characters, urban environments, and historical events, combining classes with a playful tour of the capital's heritage. Interested parties can find more information on the website of the Las Rozas Cultural Foundation.
