The Patron Saint Festivities of Móstoles 2026, held from September 4 to 15, have surpassed 400,000 visits, 100,000 more than the previous year. The concerts at Parque Finca Liana and the bullfighting events have filled the venue every day.
The Patron Saint Festivities of Móstoles 2026, which took place from September 4 to 15, gathered more than 400,000 people including locals and visitors, marking a record attendance and 100,000 more than the previous edition, according to data released by the City Council of Móstoles.
The programme, organised by the Department of Mobility, Transport, Consumption and Festivities, included free events for all audiences: liturgical celebrations in honour of Our Lady of the Saints and Saint Simón de Rojas, bullfighting events, concerts, children's and sports activities, Day Fair, popular breakfasts, Artisan Market and amusement fair, as well as the opening speech, the chupinazo and fireworks.
The stages at Parque Finca Liana attracted more than 100,000 attendees to the concerts and reached the maximum capacity set in the Safety Plan each day. In the bullring, both the National Recortadores Tournament "Champion of Champions" and the bullfight featuring Sebastián Castella, Andrés Roca Rey and David de Miranda filled the 4,600 seats available each day.
The security operation included 775 police services for 51 scheduled events and 141 service orders, over 40 vehicles, aerial support with drones, canine units, surveillance cameras and metal detection arches. The mayor, Manuel Bautista, expressed gratitude for the efforts of the involved bodies.

Bautista also praised the community response: "We have experienced festivities with an extraordinary response from the people of Móstoles, which have taken place without significant incidents." The mayor extended his thanks to the local groups, the Federation of Móstoles Groups, neighbourhood associations, and municipal cleaning and maintenance staff.
As a new initiative, the City Council distributed noise-cancelling headphones for individuals with auditory sensitivity, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and established a blue section in the Parade of Giants and Bigheads.
