The itinerant market La Despensa de Madrid celebrates its fourteenth edition in the plaza de La Caldereta in Hoyo de Manzanares on Sunday, 20th September, from 10:00 to 14:30. The initiative, promoted by the Community of Madrid and the Town Hall, brings together agri-food products from the region.
The plaza de La Caldereta in Hoyo de Manzanares will host the next Sunday 20th September, from 10:00 to 14:30, the fourteenth edition of the itinerant market La Despensa de Madrid. This event is part of a route that covers 20 municipalities in the Community of Madrid and is promoted by the regional Government in collaboration with the Town Hall of Hoyo de Manzanares.
Visitors will be able to buy directly from producers foods such as meat, beer, olives, cheese, wine, and honey, with a strong emphasis on organic production. The aim of the market is to showcase the agri-food offerings of Madrid and encourage local consumption among residents.
According to the Community of Madrid, purchasing local products helps to stimulate the economies of rural areas in the region and generate sustainable employment. The guarantee brand M Producto Certificado, launched in 2014, already groups 504 companies and around 4,500 products affiliated.
The market will remain open to the public during the morning of Sunday in the plaza de La Caldereta, with no changes to location or schedule announced.
