The Municipal Library of Alpedrete has published its newsletter of novelties for September 2026, featuring a selection of readings and audiovisuals for all ages. The newsletter can be consulted and downloaded on the municipal website.
In the children's room, for the youngest aged 0 to 5 years, titles include The Little Nursery Book, Pocoyo. Off to School, and Everyone to Sleep!. For children aged 6 to 9 years, highlights include Stories from Lucia my Paediatrician. 2, Cooking with Family, and The Case of the Missing Puppy.
The youth room offers proposals for different age groups: for ages 9 to 12, The Witchcraft Camp and Diary of a Mega Loser Villager; for ages 12 to 15, the new Diary of Greg: In His Element and The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling; and for ages 15 to 18, It's Not Love by Ali Hazelwood and The Third Sleeper.
In the adult room, suspense arrives with Everything Dies by Juan Gómez-Jurado and The Guest Room. The historical novel includes The Student and The Spaniard, while the romantic and great stories add titles like The Chemistry of Love, This Idiot is Going to Write a Novel by Juan José Millás, and the memoirs of Patti Smith, Alone in the Silence.
The comic sections include the graphic novel Maria Turns 20 and the mangas Demon Slayer 4 and My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. For the children and youth audience, Animalotes (11 and 12) and a bilingual edition of Calvin and Hobbes are arriving.
In audiovisuals, the library recommends the space dystopia Mickey 17 by Bong Joon Ho, the thriller Donnie Brasco featuring Al Pacino and Johnny Depp, and the family animation Policán.
