The Tres Cantos Town Council has opened the registration period for the Mountain and Nature School, a programme aimed at children and teenagers aged between 6 and 17. Applications can be submitted from September 2 to 12 via the form available on the municipal Youth website.
The initiative aims to create a space that promotes respect for the environment and healthy relationships among peers. The activities are structured around four pillars: mountain training, environmental education, emotional agility, and relational skills, using an experiential, playful, and participatory methodology.
Participants are divided into four groups according to their year of birth: Black Feet (2020 and 2019), Sioux (2018, 2017, and 2016), Arapahoes (2015, 2014, and 2013), and Cherokees (between 2009 and 2012). Activities will be held in the natural spaces of Tres Cantos, on Saturdays or Sundays, with one activity every two weeks, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The monthly fee is 35 euros for residents of Tres Cantos and 45 euros for non-residents, with an annual registration fee of 12 euros. The registration form will be available from September 2.
