The Festivities Commission opens the submission period until August 31. The winning design will illustrate the book of the festivities, which will take place from September 13 to October 6.
The Festivities Commission of Torres de la Alameda has launched the competition to choose the cover of the 2026 Patronal Festivities book. The call aims to involve residents in the preparation of celebrations that will take place from September 13 to October 6.
The winning design will become the main image of the official publication and must include a representation of the Virgin of the Rosary, the patron saint of the municipality, alongside characteristic elements of the festivities such as bullfighting events, musical performances, fireworks, or children's activities.
Additionally, the work must incorporate the following text: “Patronal Festivities of Torres de la Alameda in honour of Our Lady of the Rosary 2026. From September 13 to October 6”.
The technique is free and submissions can be made in physical format (A4 size) or digital (148 × 210 millimetres in high resolution). In both cases, the design must be vertical, original, and unpublished, and works that use existing images or could be considered plagiarism will not be accepted.
The rules allow the use of artificial intelligence tools, provided that their use does not exceed 50% of the creation process. Works that exceed this percentage will be excluded.
Anyone can participate, with no age limit. Minors will need a signed authorization from their parent, guardian, or legal representative.
Physical works must be submitted without visible identification of their authorship, accompanied by a sealed envelope containing personal details. Digital works should be sent to comunicacion@torresdelaalameda.org with two files: one in JPG with the work and another document with the author's details (name, surname, address, phone number, and age).
Along with the work, the registration form, the responsible declaration of authorship and originality, and, if applicable, the authorization for minors must be submitted. The deadline is August 31, 2026.
A jury of five people appointed by the Festivities Commission will meet on September 1 to choose the winning work. The single prize is 100 euros, and the design will be printed as the cover of the book, with the author's name.
The award ceremony will take place on September 27, coinciding with the Paella Competition. The complete rules and annexes are available on the municipal website.
