The Adolfo Suárez cultural centre in Tres Cantos opens registration for its workshops for the 2026-2027 academic year in September. Former and new students will have different dates, and the draw for places will take place on 21 September.
The Adolfo Suárez cultural centre in Tres Cantos has published the programme of workshops for the 2026-2027 academic year, which will run from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. Registrations will begin in September, with specific dates for former and new students.
Former students who participated in the same activity during the previous year can reserve their place on 2 and 3 September, provided they are up to date with payments. The payment period for this group will be from 2 to 4 September.
For new students, registration will be carried out by thematic areas throughout September: on the 7th for plastic arts and crafts, the 8th for languages, the 9th for body expression, the 10th for theoretical workshops, the 14th for image and new technologies, and the 15th and 16th for all workshops in general. Applications will be submitted at the information desk for workshops at the cultural centre.
If the number of applications exceeds the available places, a draw will be held on 21 September. On the same day, at 17:00 hours, the final lists of admitted students will be published. The payment period for new students will be from 21 to 27 September.
Places will be assigned by lottery with a random letter and will be ordered alphabetically by the first surname, not by the order of application submission. Places are personal and non-transferable, and each applicant may register for a maximum of two activities they genuinely wish to pursue.
Requirements and payments
Those aged over 16 may register, unless the activity is specifically aimed at minors. In the dance workshops and 'Getting to Know Madrid', registration is allowed by couple, with a single application per couple.
Payment will be made quarterly by direct debit: the first quarter (October, November, and December), the second (January, February, and March), and the third (April, May, and June). No payment should be made before appearing on the final list of admitted students.
The payment receipt must be submitted to the cultural centre within five days following the publication of the lists or sent by email to coord.talleres3c@gmail.com. If not submitted on time, the registration will be cancelled and the place will go to the waiting list.
Discounts and cancellations
There are discounts for disability, large families, youth cards, or senior cards, according to the Regulatory Ordinance on Public Prices. To request them, it is necessary to be registered in Tres Cantos and present the original documents at the time of registration. The discount applies to the registration fee, and students with a disability of 65% or more also receive a discount on the quarterly fee.
To cancel without being charged for the next quarter, it must be communicated at the cultural centre before 15 December (for the second quarter) or before 15 March (for the third). Refunds of fees will only be made in cases of undue charges, cancellation of the workshop due to lack of students, or withdrawal for duly justified medical reasons.
The complete brochure with information about the workshops is available on the Tres Cantos City Council website. Activities will begin on 1 October and run until 30 June, following the work calendar of the Community of Madrid and school holiday periods.
