The Giralt Laporta Auditorium hosts a free concert by the Villa de Chiva Plectrum Orchestra this Saturday, September 12, at 20:00, which will provide the musical closure to the September festivities in Valdemorillo.

The Giralt Laporta Auditorium in Valdemorillo will host the concert of the Villa de Chiva Plectrum Orchestra this Saturday September 12 at 20:00, a free performance that marks the musical finale of the September festivities and opens the season on the venue's stage.

The repertoire ranges from classical and traditional pieces to contemporary compositions, including original works by the conductor of the ensemble, Francisco José Abellán Rodríguez, such as 'Astoria', 'Tierra de Sueños', and 'Paisajes de un errante'.

The orchestra, hailing from the Valencian town of Chiva, advocates for the use of the plectrum, also known as a pick or plectrum, the tool used to pluck the strings of instruments such as the guitar, lute, mandolin, bandurria, laudón, and cello, which, along with the double bass and percussion, form part of the ensemble.

The group belongs to a musical association that also includes a Music School with its Youth Orchestra and the Chamber Group 'Proyecto Tuuli'.

A concert of great uniqueness that will not leave the audience indifferent," says the Councillor for Culture and Tourism, Victoria Gil.

Admission is free until full capacity is reached, with tickets available one hour before the show, starting at 19:00, to confirm seat availability.
