Residents of Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias interested in ecosystem restoration now have access to free online training. The course 'Forest Creators' begins on 15 September 2026 and is available in English, Spanish, French, and Italian.
The programme, driven by the Ecosystem Restoration Communities network, is presented as an initiative to train individuals who want to plant trees and organise reforestation projects in their surroundings. This proposal comes at a time when, according to the organisation, thousands of people across Europe are already participating in landscape recovery and the creation of community initiatives.
The course content covers why reforestation is important today, the appropriate methods for different European climates, how to mobilise a community and organise plantings, the 'More Trees Now' method, and how to design your own restoration project.
