The Hoyo de Manzanares Town Hall opens registrations for a free leadership session aimed at entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners in the municipality. It will take place on September 22, from 15:00 to 17:00, in either in-person or online format.
The Hoyo de Manzanares Town Hall has scheduled a new session of its 2026 training plan for September 22, this time focused on personal leadership skills and team management. The training is aimed at entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners in the area and can be attended in a dual format, either in-person or online.
The event will run from 15:00 to 17:00 and the physical classroom is Aula Alcántara, on the first floor. The cost is free and the instructor responsible for delivering it is Jose Javier Romero González. Registrations are managed through the Eventbrite platform.
The program is divided into six blocks and a closing Q&A session. The first block, lasting 15 minutes, will serve to frame the workshop and identify the common challenges faced by attendees through a live survey.
The second block, lasting 35 minutes, addresses the leadership of the entrepreneur themselves: the role of the leader in small businesses, managing energy and emotions, and diagnosing each participant's leadership style.
The customer experience and its relationship with the team is the focus of the third block, lasting 40 minutes. Participants will work on the moments that customers remember and how to involve the team in improving them, with an exercise to identify critical moments.
The fourth block, also lasting 40 minutes, focuses on team management: what motivates small teams beyond salary, how to organise roles and tasks without micromanagement, and how to delegate. Attendees will create a list of tasks to delegate and redefine responsibilities.
Communication and conflict resolution occupy the fifth block, lasting 35 minutes. Clear communication, constructive feedback, and common conflicts between people, with clients or due to lack of organisation, will be addressed through structured conversations and a practical case study.
The final block, lasting 15 minutes, will allow each participant to set an action plan with three concrete steps for the next 30 days. The session concludes with a space for questions and doubts.
The council states that the goal is for participants to better organise their work, communicate clearly, and lead their collaborators by aligning objectives, tasks, and people with the needs of the business.
Interested parties can register for free through the link provided on Eventbrite. The session will be held on September 22 in the Aula Alcántara or online, depending on the chosen format.
