The Town Hall of Tres Cantos is organising the second edition of the School of Administration with applied AI, which will take place from September 21 to 29 with 28 hours of in-person training. The programme aims to improve the employability of unemployed individuals in the municipality.
The Town Hall of Tres Cantos, through the Department of Economic Development and Employment, has opened the second edition of the School of Administration with applied AI, a training programme aimed at unemployed individuals in the municipality. The training will be held from September 21 to 29 in the town hall building, with a total of 28 hours of in-person training spread over seven sessions of four hours each.
The programme combines skills relevant to administrative positions with office tools, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and artificial intelligence. Participants will learn to use AI to summarise emails and meetings, draft documents, create tables and lists, or conduct effective searches, as well as acquire basic knowledge about AI agents and specific applications. Communication and customer service, time management, teamwork, and confidentiality will also be addressed.
The goal is not only to learn how to use new tools but to know how to incorporate them into daily work, practically and effectively, to acquire a more complete, versatile professional profile that meets the current demands of companies,” emphasised the councillor for Economic Development and Employment, Ana Isabel Pérez.
The first edition, held from April 14 to 22, filled all its places and recorded a demand exceeding the supply. According to follow-up conducted in June, 10 of the 25 participants had found jobs, and another seven were involved in selection processes.
These results demonstrate the importance of providing training closely linked to the real needs of companies and the changes occurring in the job market,” Pérez noted.
The councillor added that this second call continues an initiative that provides concrete tools to improve access to employment and better prepare for new professional environments.
Individuals interested in participating in this second edition can request information through the Department of Economic Development and Employment of the Town Hall of Tres Cantos. The registration deadline and specific requirements will be detailed on municipal channels.
