The Town Hall of Las Rozas is carrying out improvements in fourteen public educational centres with an investment of €1,438,111.46. The work, which includes patios, facades and air conditioning, will be ready before the start of the school term.
The Town Hall of Las Rozas is taking advantage of the summer to undertake improvement works at fourteen public educational centres in the municipality. The total investment amounts to €1,438,111.46, VAT included, and the work must be completed before the school year begins.
The Councillor for Infrastructure, José Cabrera, and the Councillor for Education, Gloria Fernández, visited CEIP San Miguel this morning to check on the progress of the works. At this centre, improvements are being made to the patios, the office area, the facade and the air conditioning.
The Education and Infrastructure departments have coordinated the work with the management of the schools and nurseries to understand their needs. Thus, each centre receives the works it most requires, always with the aim of ensuring that the classrooms are ready for the return of the students.
Parents with children in these centres will notice the improvements directly in their day-to-day lives: renovated patios, repaired facades, and more efficient air conditioning for the hot and cold months. The Town Hall has not detailed which other centres are included in the plan, but the works are being carried out during the holidays to avoid interfering with educational activities.
The municipal forecast is that all works will be completed before the start of the next school year, which in the Community of Madrid begins in September.
