The Rivas-Vaciamadrid City Council opens the application period this Monday, September 21, for 415 free places in training on artificial intelligence, Excel, Word, occupational risk prevention, and commercial logistics. Registrations will be processed on the website of the Municipal Employment Agency, which will only be operational from that date.
The courses are divided into two modalities. The online training includes intermediate/advanced Excel, intermediate/advanced Word, artificial intelligence (fundamentals and basic tools), and basic occupational risk prevention. All places are allocated on a strict first-come, first-served basis, creating a waiting list. Selected individuals will be contacted to provide access to the training platform.
The details of the editions and places are as follows:
Intermediate/advanced Excel, 25 hours and 20 places in the first edition (from October 14 to November 3) and another 20 in the second (from November 4 to November 26).
Intermediate/advanced Word, 25 hours and 20 places in the first edition (from October 14 to November 3) and another 20 in the second (from November 4 to November 26).
Artificial intelligence. Fundamentals and basic tools, 30 hours and 60 places in the first edition (from October 14 to November 3) and another 60 in the second (from November 4 to November 26).
Basic occupational risk prevention, 30 hours and 100 places in the first edition (from October 14 to November 3) and another 100 in the second (from November 4 to November 26).
The other modality is the commercial logistics course, in-person with 15 places. It is aimed at individuals over 18 years old (or who will turn 18 in 2026) and registered in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. The itinerary totals 100 hours divided into four subjects: basic occupational risk prevention (30 hours), packaging techniques (30 hours), operations with pallet trucks and stackers, category I, types 1 and 3 (20 hours), and operations with medium and high-level order pickers, advanced (20 hours).
This course starts on November 3 and is taught at the Centre for Vocational Training (CFOR I), located at Mariano Fortuny Street, 4, in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Selected individuals will be contacted for their registration, and once the student body is configured, a waiting list will be generated.
