Rivas opens five free vocational training courses for the unemployed

The Rivas-Vaciamadrid City Council offers five free vocational training courses for unemployed individuals, funded by the Community of Madrid and with limited places.

The Department of Economic Development and Employment of the Rivas-Vaciamadrid City Council has opened the pre-registration period for five free vocational training courses for employment, aimed at unemployed individuals and funded by the Community of Madrid.

The training will be held at the Marcelino Camacho Municipal Employment and Training Institute, on Crisol Street, except for the Auxiliary Warehouse Activities course, which will take place at the Training Centre (CFOR) on Mariano Fortuny Street, 4.

Those who are unemployed and registered as job seekers at the Employment Offices of the Community of Madrid, with an updated job demand, can register. Pre-registrations are carried out at the Rivas Employment Office, on Marie Curie Street, 5-7, or through the website agenciadecolocacion.rivasciudad.es.

The offer includes the course Diversity Support: Special Educational Needs (105 hours, starting in November), which requires a high school diploma, higher technical degree, degree or equivalent. There is also Teaching Skills for Vocational Training Delivery (100 hours, November), with requirements such as a secondary education certificate or level 1 professional certificate and at least three years of demonstrable work experience in the occupations to be taught.

For the course on Social Health Care for Dependent Persons with Alzheimer’s or Other Dementias in Social Institutions (100 hours, September), it is required to be a technician in social health care or to have the corresponding professional certificate. The Advanced Excel and Power BI course (150 hours, September) requires at least a secondary education certificate or passing a medium-level Excel access test. Finally, the Professional Certificate in Auxiliary Warehouse Activities (210 hours, September) only requires basic knowledge of Spanish.

Interested individuals must have their job demand updated before pre-registering. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the City Council.
