The Local Government Board of Tres Cantos has approved the rules for the competition to choose the city anthem. The deadline for submitting applications will be open until November 18.
The Local Government Board of Tres Cantos held its first meeting of the new political term on Tuesday, chaired by the mayor, Jesús Moreno. During the meeting, the rules for the competition to create the Anthem of Tres Cantos were approved, as part of the commemorative actions for the city's 35th anniversary.
The submitted compositions must be original and unpublished, lasting between two and four minutes, and should have a solemn, emotional, inclusive, and representative character of the city. Individuals or groups over the age of 18 can participate, with proposals inspired by Tres Cantos, its residents, its surroundings, or its future projection.
The winning work will receive a single prize of 1,500 euros. Applications will be submitted through the municipal electronic headquarters, and the deadline will remain open until November 18, 2026.
We start this new political term with all the enthusiasm and commitment to continue making Tres Cantos a city of excellence in all areas. Moreover, we do this in a particularly significant year, in which we celebrate our 35th anniversary by valuing our history, our identity, and, above all, looking to the future,” the mayor stated.
During the meeting, a review of the objectives achieved and the short, medium, and long-term challenges of the municipal government was also made, thus resuming ordinary activities after the summer period.
