Villalbilla Sweetens San Miguel with its Doughnut Contest on September 20

The Villalbilla Doughnut Contest will take place on September 20 at the Kiosk Square Tent. Registrations open until 17:30 at the Raíces Senior Centre.

The pastry contest returns as part of the Senior Day with an intergenerational touch. Registrations are now open.

The Doughnut Contest will once again be one of the highlights of the San Miguel 2026 Festivities in Villalbilla. The event, framed within the activities of Senior Day, will take place on Sunday, September 20 at the Kiosk Square Tent.

The contest, organised alongside the Raíces Senior Association, aims to highlight local pastry traditions and promote interaction between generations. Participants will present their recipes to a local jury that will evaluate the traditional flavour, texture, and presentation of each doughnut.

Interested individuals can register until September 20 at 17:30 at the Raíces Senior Centre. The rules are available at that same centre.
