The VIII Craft Beer Fair of El Escorial will bring together 11 breweries and a mead producer on Saturday, October 3rd, with guided tastings, live music, and two food stalls.
The Fernández Panadero Park in El Escorial will host the eighth edition of the Craft Beer Fair on Saturday, October 3rd, organised by the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of the municipality in collaboration with the El Escorial City Council. This edition will feature 11 breweries and a mead producer, with participants from the Community of Madrid, Castilla y León, and Castilla-La Mancha, as well as the Belgian brewery Le Chouffe.
According to the organisers, this is one of the oldest beer fairs in the Community of Madrid. The gastronomic offer will be complemented by two food stalls that will accompany the producers throughout the day.
The mayor of El Escorial, Antonio Vicente, commented on the event:
It is important for tourism and the development of the town to have initiatives like this that bring life to the municipality and help to boost local commerce.
The programme includes a performance by the clown Mike Dos Perillas, awarded in various national competitions, who will perform in the streets of the municipality, and a performance by the group LET in Fernández Panadero Park, featuring covers of rock classics.
The company Momentos Cerveceros will conduct guided tastings in the morning and afternoon to showcase the styles, aromas, and flavours of the brews present at the fair.
To participate in the tastings, it will be necessary to purchase the official 34-centilitre glass, which will be sold for 2.50 euros. Among the confirmed breweries are CCVK (Vallecas), Bacterio Brewing (Móstoles), Joint Brewing (Madrid), Malta Caballar (Alpedrete), Vamos a Beer (Santo Tomé del Puerto), 90 Varas (Cerezo de Abajo), Cerveza Arriaca (Yunquera de Henares), Cerveza Bola (Toledo), Oso Brew (Alcobendas), Octavo Arte (Segovia), and Le Chouffe (Belgium), along with Hidromiel Decuria (Toledo).
