The Fairs and Festivals of Alcalá de Henares 2026 will conclude this Sunday with a parade of floats, groups, and fireworks. The procession will depart at 8 PM from Vía Complutense and distribute 6,000 kilos of gluten-free sweets.
The Fairs and Festivals of Alcalá de Henares 2026 come to an end this Sunday with the Grand Float Parade and fireworks. The procession will depart at 20:00 from the roundabout at Luis de Medina street and Vía Complutense and will travel through the Glorieta de San Jerónimo de Sola, Sebastián de la Plaza street, Puerta de Mártires, and Libreros, finishing at Plaza de Cervantes.
The parade will feature 8 floats with children's and youth themes, 5 groups participating in the competition organized by the Department of Festivals, the group of Giants and Bigheads, the firefighters, and a large parade from the cultural association La Burleta, arriving from Campo de Criptana, with dozens of dancers and three mobile elements.
The groups that will parade include the associations El Juglar, Los Jardineros, Los Pichis, and Los Reincidentes, along with the Cultural Association of Majorettes Rhythm and Baton. During the route, 6,000 kilos of gluten-free soft sweets will be distributed by the associations accompanying the parade.
At the end of the parade, the banner of the associations will be removed from the balcony of the Town Hall. Following this, the fireworks company Vulcano will present a show lasting more than 13 minutes from the Huerta del Obispo, with fireworks that will mark the grand finale of the festivities.
