The Aranjuez City Council is organising the third edition of 'Survival Zombie Aranjuez: The Dead Walk' on Friday, October 23, from 21:00 to 03:00, with 440 spots and 40 professional actors.
The Aranjuez City Council, through the Youth Delegation, has opened the organisation of the third edition of 'Survival Zombie Aranjuez: The Dead Walk', a night-time gymkhana that will take place on Friday, October 23 between 21:00 and 03:00. The activity will traverse various spaces in the city and will feature 440 spots and 40 professional actors.
Tickets cost 10 euros and can be purchased between October 5 and 21 at the Isabel de Farnesio Cultural Centre, from 09:00 to 21:00, until capacity is reached. The event is aimed at individuals aged 13 and over, and those under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The organisers explain how the game works in a statement: participants receive a survival kit at the start containing the rules, a map, an identification wristband, a green buff, and extra lives. Those who are caught by the 'infected' will lose their green buff and will be characterised as undead to continue participating in the experience.
Those who are caught by the infected will lose their green buff and will be characterised as undead to continue being part of the experience," the City Council states.
The organisers will be distinguished by a yellow buff and the 'infected' by a red buff. During the six hours of activity, participants will need to overcome escape room-style challenges, solve puzzles, and avoid being chased. The event concludes with a closing scene where all participants gather.
The City Council prohibits the consumption of alcohol or drugs before and during the event. This event follows the editions of 2024 and 2025, which brought together over 450 participants, and this time proposes a new story and a route adapted to the city's settings.
Tickets can be purchased from October 5 at the Isabel de Farnesio Cultural Centre until October 21 or until the 440 spots are filled.
