Mejorada del Campo will celebrate on Saturday, October 3, the first edition of 'Mejorada Fight Night', an evening of amateur boxing with 16 fights and free entry. The event, arising from the Participatory Budgets, will take place at the municipal sports pavilion 'La Dehesa'.

The doors are expected to open from 17:00 hours and the fights will begin at 18:00 hours. Young male and female boxers from the municipality will participate alongside other athletes arriving from various points in the Community of Madrid.
The matches will be divided into the categories Junior, Youth and Elite. Each fight will consist of three rounds, lasting two minutes in the Junior category and three minutes in the Youth category.
The evening responds to a winning proposal from the last Participatory Budgets of Mejorada del Campo, which has allowed amateur boxing to be brought closer to residents through an open and free sports activity. Among the fights, a musical performance by El Guiserís is scheduled before the final part of the evening.
Access to the pavilion will be free until capacity is reached. The event is part of municipal initiatives to promote sports and citizen participation in the municipality.
