The Aranjuez City Council opens the application period for places for the third edition of 'SufJoven' on 25 September, a surfing trip to Somo (Cantabria) from 9 to 12 October. There are 30 places for Year 10 students and the price is 85 euros thanks to 85% municipal funding.
The Aranjuez City Council, through the Youth and Childhood Delegation, has opened the registration period for the third edition of 'SufJoven', a trip that will take 30 Year 10 students to Somo, in Cantabria, between 9 and 12 October.
The application form will be available from 25 September to 1 October 2026. Completing it does not guarantee a place: a draw will be held on 2 October at 16:00 at the Isabel de Farnesio Cultural Centre to determine the 30 beneficiaries and the reserve list.
The programme includes transport, accommodation, half board, daily surfing lessons, workshops, and 24-hour monitors, as well as cultural and tourist visits to Santander. The municipal funding covers 85% of the cost, so each participant will pay 85 euros, which must be paid at the Youth Delegation Office between 5 and 7 October.
The departure is scheduled for Friday 9 October at 15:00 from the entrance parking of Aranjuez. The return is planned for Monday 12 October at 18:00 at the same location.
