Cerceda will celebrate its Grand Bullfighting Fair as part of the patron saint festivities, with morning encierros and novice bullfights with picadors. General passes cost 35 euros and include dinner.
The town of Cerceda is finalising preparations for its Grand Bullfighting Fair 2026, which will take place during the patron saint festivities. The programme includes three days with encierros at 11:00 hours and novice bullfights with picadors at 18:30 hours.
The first event will be on Saturday 29 August, featuring four calves from the Juan Luis Fraile ranch for the novice bullfighters Álvaro Seseña and Sergio Domínguez “El Mella”. The substitute will be Aitor Fernández.
On Sunday 30 August, four calves from the Guadalest ranch will be fought, with Cristian González and Mario Vilau on the bill. Once again, Aitor Fernández will act as the substitute.
The cycle will conclude on Monday 14 September with calves from Valdefresno and the participation of the winners from the two previous novice bullfights.
Passes for the three novice bullfights, which also include a dinner, are priced at 35 euros for general admission and 30 euros for retirees and clubs. Single tickets cost 15 euros for general admission and 12 euros for retirees and clubs. Children under 14 years enter free as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
The fair is part of the patron saint festivities of the district of El Boalo, which concentrates most of the festive activities in the municipality around the bullfighting calendar.
Fans who want to secure their pass can purchase it in advance, as the seating capacity of the bullring is limited. The organisation reminds that minors must be accompanied and that free entry only applies in the form of a pass or general admission ticket.
