Galapagar will celebrate its Patron Saint Festivities from September 10 to 14 with free concerts by Orquesta Panorama, David Bustamante, and Isabel Aaiún, along with new accessibility measures.

Galapagar will celebrate its Patron Saint Festivities in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Mercy from September 10 to 14. The Orquesta Panorama, David Bustamante, and Isabel Aaiún will headline the free concerts, and the fairground will introduce a noise-free schedule from 19:00 to 21:00.

Galapagar already has a lineup for its Patron Saint Festivities 2026, which will take place from September 10 to 14 in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Mercy. The Orquesta Panorama, David Bustamante, and Isabel Aaiún are the main names in a programme that includes free concerts, bull runs, children's activities, and sports events.

Thursday, September 10, will kick off with the Holi Festival, from 18:30 to 20:30 in the car park of the El Chopo football field, with free entry. Afterwards, the traditional Peñas Parade will wind through the streets to the Constitution Square. At 21:00, local swimmer Camino Martínez will deliver the opening speech. The night will continue with DJ Fernando Moreno at 22:00 and the performance by the Orquesta Panorama at 22:30 in the fairground area on Guadarrama Street, with free admission.

On Friday the 11th, at 9:30, the III Ground Golf Trophy Galapagar for those over 55 will start at the Municipal Sports Centre, and at 11:00, there will be a free Zumba Masterclass in the Constitution Square. The Ricardo León Library will host a storytelling session titled “Tales with Shells” at 18:00. At 17:30, there will be a Practical Class from the Bullfighting Schools, and from 21:00 to 23:00, the Grand Prix of Peñas, both at the bullring. At 22:30, Isabel Aaiún will give a free concert in the Constitution Square, followed by DJ Lady Tupé and DJ Álvaro Serrano from 00:00 to 04:00.

Saturday the 12th will start at 9:00 with the X Galapagar Badminton Tournament at the Municipal Sports Centre, which will last until 21:00. At 10:00, the first Bull Run will take place, followed by the Children's Bull Run in El Toril park. From 11:00 to 20:00, there will be a Flower and Fruit Offering at the parish. In the afternoon, at 18:00, the bullring will host a Novillada with Picadores. Later that night, David Bustamante will perform at 22:30 in the Constitution Square with free entry, followed by DJ Xinli and DJ Destruk.

On Sunday the 13th, the Floral Dawn at 9:00 will lead into the Bull Run at 10:00 and the Children's Bull Run afterwards. From 11:30 to 15:00, the Constitution Square will host Children's Day, featuring free workshops and inflatables. In the afternoon, there will be a Novillada Sin Picadores at 18:00 and a free children's show by Pica Pica at 18:30. The night will feature flamenco by Malucos Danza at 20:30, followed by tribute acts by Grupo Agila to Extremoduro and Grupo La Patera to Marea.

On Monday the 14th, Patron's Day, the main events will take place. At 8:00, there will be a Floral Dawn and at 9:00, the last Bull Run, both at the bullring. At 11:00, a solemn Mass in honour of the Most Holy Christ of Mercy will be held at the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, followed by a procession. At 14:30, neighbours and visitors can participate in a community meal.

This year, the festivities will incorporate accessibility and inclusion measures. The fairground will have a noise-free schedule from 19:00 to 21:00, an accessible area in the Constitution Square, and sensory kits that Civil Protection will provide to individuals with sensory hypersensitivity who request them. People with disabilities will have a FastPass wristband for priority access to participating attractions. Additionally, prevention against chemical submission will be reinforced with the distribution of 4,000 cup lids, detection buckets, and a White Point for information and assistance.
