From September 11 to 15, a hundred craft and gastronomy stalls will be set up in the centre of Móstoles for the Patron Saint Festivities. There will be workshops, parades, and more than 20 daily activities.
Móstoles will host a craft market with over a hundred stalls from Friday, September 11, to Tuesday, September 15, as part of the Patron Saint Festivities in honour of Our Lady of the Saints and Saint Simón de Rojas. The initiative, organised by the Móstoles City Council through the Department of Mobility, Transport, Consumption, and Festivities, will take place in Plaza del Pradillo, Antonio Hernández Street, Plaza de la Cultura, and Iker Casillas Avenue, in front of Finca Liana Park.
Visitors will find artisan products, gastronomy, and a dining area. Additionally, workshops on stone carving, blown glass, wood carving, and forging will be held, while the children's area will feature drawing activities, bookmarks, and clay stelae, among other proposals.
The programme includes themed parades featuring elves, Celtic wizards, nomadic sorcerers, the sorceress, and the druid, as well as the puppet parade The Dragon. More than 20 daily activities will also be organised, such as storytelling, puppet theatre, shows, and musical entertainment.
The market will open on Friday, September 11, at 10:00 am, and will be open from 10:00 am to 1:00 am that day, and from 10:00 am to 12:00 am on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. On the last day, September 15, coinciding with the end of the festivities, the “Farewell to the Trades” will take place with musical entertainment at 11:00 pm and the parade “The Ice Queen and the Lion” at 11:30 pm, before the stalls close.
