The Ciempozuelos Town Hall has announced that citizens will no longer need to provide a bank certificate for certain procedures. Instead, they can submit a responsible declaration.

The Ciempozuelos Town Hall announced this Thursday the implementation of a new procedure that eliminates the need to present a bank certificate for various municipal transactions. From now on, interested parties can replace it with a responsible declaration.

The measure, published on the municipal website, affects the procedures where a financial institution's accrediting document was previously required. With this modification, residents will only need to sign a document stating, under their responsibility, that they meet the required criteria.

The aim is to expedite procedures and reduce bureaucratic burdens for citizens, as explained by the municipal government team.

The new responsible declaration for third parties with a bank certificate is now available for download and submission at the general registry of the Town Hall, as well as through the municipal website. Municipal services recommend checking the specific instructions for each procedure to confirm if this substitution is applicable.
