Sector III of Getafe celebrates the last Neighbourhood Festivities of 2026 from 17th to 20th September, featuring sports, a parade, and a popular paella.

Sector III celebrates the last Neighbourhood Festivities of Getafe 2026 from 17th to 20th September, with sports, music, gastronomy, and activities for the whole family. The programme is driven by the Festivities Committee and the local community, with the support of the Town Hall.

The Sector III of Getafe closes the cycle of Neighbourhood Festivities 2026 with four days of activities, from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th September. The programme is organised by the Festivities Committee and the local community, with the support of the Getafe Town Hall, and the Civic Centre and its square will once again be the centre of the celebrations.

The days leading up to the event will host sports championships in mus, indoor football, table tennis, football, volleyball, and a Game Party. The official kick-off will be on Thursday 17th at 19:30, with the Senior Dance in the square of the Civic Centre.

On Friday 18th, the day starts at 17:00 with the Craft Fair, games for the whole family, a tombola, and workshops for tattoos and glow. At 18:30, there will be storytelling and puppets, as well as a dog demonstration. Music will arrive at 20:00 with El Vale, and at 22:00 the Parade will be led by representatives of the Civic Centre's volunteers. Following that, Flashback and Tribute to Queen will perform.

On Saturday 19th, activities begin in the morning with football tournaments, the V Cross AD Cerro Buenavista, traditional games, a wargame, the XI Children's Chess Championship, and workshops for ceramics, bracelets, candles, jewellery, crafts, and a graffiti mural. At 13:00, the Omelette Contest will take place with a brass band, and at 14:00, the Meeting of Groups will occur.

In the afternoon, there will be games, a breakdance competition, and a Polish folk dance workshop. At 18:30, Esto es lo que Hay will perform, followed by a children's mobile disco and a session for young people that will last until the early hours.

On Sunday 20th, the closing includes more tournaments, the Foam Party, and the Bicycle Party. At 14:00, the traditional popular paella will be served, and at 18:00, Nuevas Ilusiones will perform, followed by musical performances and folk dance.

As in the other neighbourhoods, there will be a Punto Violeta in the square of the Civic Centre for the prevention of sexual assaults, active on the nights of Friday and Saturday from 22:00 to 2:00.
