Soto del Real inaugurates this Saturday, September 12, the 'Levanta, Soto' programme with the charity run Sunset Run and a fusion flamenco concert. 50% of the proceeds will go towards cancer.
The municipality of Soto del Real launches this Saturday September 12 the 'Levanta, Soto' programme, a series of activities that combines sport, culture, and community engagement. The first day will kick off at 19:00 with the charity run Sunset Run, starting from the Plaza de la Villa.
The event offers two distances, 7.5 and 11 kilometres, to cater to different levels. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
From 21:00, the day will continue with a concert by Fideo and Cata, a fusion flamenco and rumba duo accompanied by percussionist Miguel Reyes.
The Councillor for Sports, Nacho García, explained that the programme aims to keep Soto del Real an active municipality while expanding the offerings in culture, leisure, and nature. "We want the local residents to be the protagonists, to come out, participate, and find activities they can enjoy, each in their own way," he stated.
The Town Hall invites all residents to participate in this first event, which will lead to new activities throughout the year.
