The Alcalá de Henares City Council will re-establish a Consumer Information Point at the Fairgrounds during the festivities, open from 20:00 to 1:00.

The Alcalá de Henares City Council will once again install the Consumer Information Point (PIC) at the Fairgrounds, a service that will be operational every day during the festivities from 20:00 to 1:00.

The point will handle complaints, inquiries, and grievances from citizens, and the Consumer Inspection will conduct daily inspections of the stalls set up in the area, mainly those related to food service, attractions, and handicraft sales.

Inspectors will monitor compliance with current consumer regulations, paying special attention to the display of prices for all items and products, as well as the presence of informative signs with the rules for tombolas and attractions. It will also be made known that complaint forms are available at the PIC for consumers.

The Councillor for Consumption, Víctor Cobo, explained that “if a user has any problem, they can go directly to the Consumer Information Point and submit their complaint. Inspectors will be able to verify what happened at the corresponding attraction stall at that moment.”

In this way, residents and visitors attending the Fairgrounds during the Alcalá de Henares festivities will have a nearby resource to resolve any issues related to consumption, without needing to travel to other municipal offices.
