Boadilla invests €5.08 million in maintaining its municipal buildings over three years

Boadilla del Monte has invested €5,086,041 in maintaining its municipal buildings over three years, with works like the flooring of the Rey Felipe VI pavilion.

The City Council of Boadilla del Monte has spent €5,086,041 in the last three years to keep its municipal buildings in good condition. This figure includes both urgent repairs and scheduled improvements, according to the report released by the Council.

Of the total, €1,733,865 has gone on corrective maintenance, that is, on resolving incidents and repairs that arose. The remaining €3,302,174 has been used for preventive maintenance, aimed at improving facilities before they deteriorate.

Among the most expensive actions is the replacement of the sports flooring in the Rey Felipe VI pavilion, which cost €218,242.83. This is followed by the renovation of the false ceiling and insulation of the covered pavilion at CDM Ángel Nieto, costing €217,654.40.

The Administrative Headquarters has also received attention: its chiller was replaced for €203,411.59 and work areas were adapted for €60,000. In terms of energy efficiency, the Training Centre introduced LED lighting with regulation (€87,170.42) and the Municipal Auditorium and the Youth House also changed their lighting to LED (€51,571).

The historical heritage has not been neglected either: the restoration of the façade of the Millonaria and its interior conditioning cost €89,000. In sports facilities, the dancing rooms were adapted (€76,200) and the climate control of the covered municipal swimming pool was renewed (€65,394.77).

Finally, €35,000 plus VAT was invested in rectifying defects in the elevators of several municipal buildings to bring them up to current regulations.

The City Council has not detailed the schedule for upcoming interventions, but the report confirms that the maintenance of public facilities remains a priority in the municipality.
