The Boadilla del Monte Town Hall has opened the registration period for its free municipal women's self-defence courses, which will be held from October 13 to June 12, 2027 at the Ángel Nieto Municipal Sports Complex.
Women aged 14 years and older who wish to participate in the free women's self-defence courses in Boadilla del Monte can now register. Classes are divided into various levels and schedules and will take place at the Ángel Nieto Municipal Sports Complex between October 13 and June 12, 2027.
The programme is organised by the Boadilla del Monte Town Hall and places are limited. The content includes self-protection knowledge and basic safety protocols, aimed at improving the safety, self-esteem, and self-confidence of the participants, as explained by the Town Council.
The beginner level consists of four groups. Group I meets on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 20:00 from October 13 to February 9; Group II, on Saturdays from 11:30 to 12:30 from October 17 to February 13; Group III, on Tuesdays from 19:00 to 20:00 from February 16 to June 8; and Group IV, on Saturdays from 11:30 to 12:30 from February 20 to June 12.
The advanced level has two groups. Group I trains on Tuesdays from 18:00 to 19:00 from October 13 to June 8, and Group II on Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 from October 17 to June 12.
Each interested participant can sign up for only one group. To access the advanced level, it is required to have previously completed the beginner course.
