The Ciempozuelos Town Hall has initiated the comprehensive rehabilitation of Peñuelas Street, one of the urban roads that was in the greatest disrepair. The works, which have already begun, include the renewal of the pavement, improvement of the drainage network, and the adaptation of the sidewalks to ensure accessibility.
According to municipal sources, the works will be carried out in several phases to minimise inconvenience to residents and traffic. This action is part of the urban maintenance plan that the council is implementing in various locations throughout the town.
The intervention on Peñuelas Street responds to community demands, which had long been calling for a solution to the issues of pavement and stormwater drainage. The estimated execution time is three months, provided that weather conditions allow.
During the duration of the works, alternative routes will be established for traffic, and access to garages and entrances in the area will be maintained. The Town Hall advises drivers to exercise caution and follow the temporary signage.
