Health Minister Fátima Matute visited Chapinería's Health Centre alongside Mayor Lucía Moya to assess the health response after the fire in the Sierra Oeste.
The Health Minister of the Community of Madrid, Fátima Matute, visited the Health Centre in Chapinería this Thursday, accompanied by Mayor Lucía Moya, to learn first-hand about the health situation in the municipality following the fire that has affected the Sierra Oeste.
During the tour, Moya conveyed to Matute the concerns and worries of the residents, who still live with uncertainty after the difficult moments caused by the fire. The mayor emphasised the need to maintain close attention and strengthen support for the population during the recovery.
The meeting served to analyse the health response provided during the emergency and assess the current needs of the municipality, at a time when Chapinería is moving towards normality. The Health Centre team was acknowledged by both officials for their work during these days.
Both the minister and the mayor wanted to publicly thank the professionalism, commitment, and human quality of the healthcare workers, who have been fundamental in caring for the residents in a particularly complex situation.
