The mountain town has prepared a calendar of activities for all ages starting on August 1 with the 56th Cultural Week, which includes cinema, music, mountain sports, and children's workshops.

Cercedilla kicks off August with a packed agenda of proposals for all audiences. The 56th Cultural Week of the Cercedilla Cultural Foundation will launch from August 1 to 6, featuring concerts, discussions, recitals, workshops, and meetings with artists, musicians, and writers. It is one of the most established events of the summer in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

The cinema will once again take over the nights at Plaza Nueva with a new edition of Summer Cinema, while classical music will have its place in the Summer Classics cycle, which will be held at the Parish Church of San Sebastián. Additionally, the month will feature a new edition of Beer-Mú, which combines gastronomy, music, and a summer atmosphere.

The mountains will also be a major highlight with the Mountain Week, which will include conferences, star observation, night routes, climbing walls, zip lines, and educational talks. The aim is to bring residents and visitors closer to the natural heritage of the municipality.

Young people will have their space with sports tournaments and introductory workshops for mountain biking. The little ones can enjoy a puppet show and a Road Safety workshop organized in collaboration with the Local Police.

The Cercedilla Town Council aims to offer a complete summer of culture, sports, nature, and leisure. The complete calendar of activities is available on the municipal website, detailing the dates and times of each proposal.
