The City Council of Coslada has published the new tender to manage the cafeterias of the Municipal Senior Centres Primavera and La Rambla. Hospitality companies can submit bids until 28 September 2026 at 23:59 hours.
The City Council of Coslada has put out to tender the cafeteria service of the Municipal Senior Centres Primavera and La Rambla. Interested hospitality sector companies have until 28 September 2026 at 23:59 hours to submit their bids.
The Department of Social Services and Seniors has increased the budget allocated to these cafeterias compared to the previous contract. The aim is to make the offer more attractive to companies and achieve greater participation in the process.
The delegated councillor for Social Services and Seniors, Charo Arroyo, explained the reason for the budget increase:
The publication of this tender represents a very important advance. It has required intense work and significant budgetary effort from the City Council to improve the service conditions and propose a contract with greater guarantees of viability.
Arroyo also highlighted the social function that these spaces serve for the users of the centres:
We are aware of the importance these cafeterias have for many older people. They are not just places to have a drink, but also meeting places, coexistence, and social interaction within our centres.
The area of Social Services and Seniors is disseminating the tender among hospitality companies so they can learn the details and participate. Bids are submitted through the public sector contracting platform.
