The El Escorial Town Hall has acquired a new street sweeper for over €200,000 to improve street cleaning and the maintenance of public spaces.

The El Escorial Town Hall has added a new street sweeper to its fleet of municipal machinery. The acquisition, managed by the Works and Services department, has involved an investment of over €200,000 and aims to strengthen cleaning and maintenance efforts for streets and public spaces.

The mayor of the locality, Antonio Vicente, and the councillor responsible for the area, Carlos Iglesias, have already received the machine, which adds to the resources available for the service workers. The Town Hall highlights that this new tool will allow for more effective action against dirt and improve the appearance of the municipality.

The incorporation of this street sweeper is part of a continued effort to equip the Town Hall with adequate means. According to municipal sources, the measure aims to reinforce the commitment to urban environmental care and facilitate the work of the operators, who will have access to more modern and efficient equipment.

With this investment, El Escorial takes another step forward in improving public services. Residents will notice the enhancement in street cleaning, especially in the busiest areas and the most frequented spaces of the urban centre.

The new street sweeper is already operational and will be integrated into the regular work plan of the Works and Services department, which will continue to carry out its maintenance tasks with greater resources.
