The Town Hall of Galapagar collaborates with Nebrija University on a project to study cognitive training. They are looking for participants aged 18 to 35 and over 45.

The Town Hall of Galapagar has announced its collaboration with Nebrija University on a research project about brain health and cognitive function. The initiative, led by the Brain and Behaviour (BRABE) group, will study the effects of cognitive training on memory and concentration.

The study will take place entirely within the municipality, with no need for travel. Participants will be organised into groups of up to seven people and will complete eight sessions, with a planned frequency of two or three per week.

The project seeks two profiles: young people aged 18 to 35 and people aged 45 and over. Interested individuals will receive a professional evaluation of their cognitive state and contribute to research on cognitive decline and neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.

The research will be conducted in two phases: first, the recruitment of participants and programme design, and then the intervention with measurement and analysis of results. The BRABE group consists of professionals in clinical psychology, biology, biochemistry, engineering, nursing, and medicine.

Interested individuals can request more information by writing to educacion@galapagar.es or through the registration form provided by the Town Hall.
