The Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra opens the registration period from August 24 to 27 for the Non-School Days service, aimed at children aged 3 to 12. Activities will take place on August 31 and September 1, 3, and 4.
The Town Hall of Horcajuelo de la Sierra has activated the registration period for the Non-School Days 2026 service, an initiative designed to help families balance work and family life during the last days of summer. Applications can be submitted from August 24 to 27, inclusive.
The program, approved by Mayoral Decree, offers recreational and educational activities for children aged 3 to 12 years old at the time of application. It will take place at the “Biosphere Reserve” Convention Centre, located at Calle Blanca, 32, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
The scheduled days are August 31 and September 1, 3, and 4. During these days, participants will enjoy a program focused on cognitive, creative, and social development, with special attention to respecting and enjoying nature, as stated in the municipal resolution.
The number of places is limited: nine in total. If applications exceed this number, the council will apply a preference order prioritising children registered in Horcajuelo de la Sierra; then, those with a residence in the municipality (from parents, grandparents, or other relatives), and finally, those with a parent working in the locality.
The public fee is 3 euros per chosen day. The payment does not include lunch, so parents or guardians must provide lunch or a mid-morning drink for the children.
Registrations can be submitted in person at the Town Hall Registry, through the electronic headquarters, or by sending the official form to horcajuelosociocultural@gmail.com. Once the registration period is closed, the list of admitted participants and the waiting list will be published on August 28 on the notice board and the municipal electronic headquarters.
Admitted families must make the payment at least 24 hours before the start of the activity. The complete rules and the registration form are available on the Town Hall's website.
