The Community of Madrid has announced the extension of Metro Line 10 from Puerta del Sur to Móstoles, with 6.5 kilometres and six new stations. The planned investment is €1.05 billion, and the works will be carried out between 2030 and 2034.

The Community of Madrid has announced the extension of Line 10 from Puerta del Sur to the municipality, a route of 6.5 kilometres with six new stations. This action is part of the plan to expand the regional network and will involve an investment of €1.05 billion.
According to the planning of the regional government, technical studies will be developed between 2027 and 2029, and the works will be executed between 2030 and 2034. The extension is part of a package that includes 32 new kilometres of Metro towards Las Tablas, Móstoles, Leganés, and Boadilla del Monte.
The mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, has held several meetings with the Department of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure to convey the request of the residents and address the improvement of the city's connections.

Bautista added that “Móstoles is one of the major cities in the Community of Madrid, and this extension will allow us to improve our direct connection with the capital. We have worked hand in hand with the regional government to convey the needs of our residents, and today we see the result of that collaboration.”
The technical studies will begin in 2027, and the works will not start until 2030, with the expectation that the line will reach Móstoles in 2034.
