The route, measuring 2,800 meters, runs along Avenida del Dos de Mayo, Calle Alfonso XII, Paseo de Arroyomolinos, Calle Simón Hernández, and Calle Cuesta de la Virgen, ending at Parque Cuartel Huertas, next to the library.
The organisation, led by the Móstoles City Council through the Departments of Sports and Health and the Association of Friends of the Dog in Móstoles, will distribute the race numbers between 8:30 and 9:30 at a tent set up at the Almudena Grandes Central Library.
Registration costs 3 euros and can be completed on the website marchadog.es, where contributions to the zero row can also be made. All proceeds will go to animal protection in Móstoles.
At the end of the march, there will be a tribute to the dogs that participated in the DANA of Valencia, a runway for dogs available for adoption, a dog exhibition, yogadog, face painting by Cristina Make Up, and the MascotaFoto photocall.
The event, which is charitable in nature, aims to raise awareness among residents about the prevention of abandonment and animal abuse and to promote responsible adoption.
