The Town Hall of Olmeda de las Fuentes activates eAgora, a platform that centralises incidents, citizen mailbox, agenda, and announcements. Furniture and pruning collection will be added in September.
The Town Hall of Olmeda de las Fuentes has launched eAgora, a digital platform that brings together the main municipal services in one space. The initiative aims to simplify the relationship between the council and residents, who previously had to use different channels for procedures or inquiries.
In this first phase, the tool includes four functionalities: incidents, citizen mailbox, municipal agenda, and announcements. Through the incidents section, residents can report problems on public roads, lighting, cleaning, urban furniture, parks, and gardens, among others.
The citizen mailbox, on the other hand, serves to send inquiries, suggestions, proposals, or complaints directly to the Town Hall. The agenda will gather the activities and events planned in the municipality, while the announcements will provide notices and news of interest for daily life.
The platform also links to other municipal resources such as the telephone directory, the electronic headquarters, the catalogue of procedures, the electronic invoice, the transparency portal, and information about transport, tourism, and pharmacies. All of this is accessible from a single entry point.
The council plans to expand the service starting from mid-September with two new functions: furniture and belongings collection and pruning collection. With these additions, residents will be able to manage both procedures without leaving the application.
The application can be downloaded for free from the municipal website. With this launch, Olmeda de las Fuentes joins an initiative promoted by the Community of Madrid to bring administration closer to citizens through technology.
