The Local Police of Alcalá de Henares announces lane closures on Navarro and Ledesma streets starting August 4 due to supply works.

Navarro and Ledesma streets in Alcalá de Henares will experience traffic restrictions from next week. The Local Police has informed that the works to execute a new supply connection will require the closure of one traffic lane in two consecutive phases.

The first phase will begin on Tuesday, August 4, with the closure of the lane in the direction of Flores street. The following day, Wednesday, August 5, the disruption will move to the lane in the direction of Vía Complutense, marking the start of the second phase.

The closures will remain in place until the completion of the works, as specified by the local authority. A specific end date for the works has not been provided, so drivers are advised to plan their journeys in advance.

The Local Police also requests to respect the provisional signage and exercise caution when driving in the area, where a reduction in road capacity is expected during the duration of the works.

The action will directly affect residents and regular drivers of this central city route, which is one of the connections between the historic centre and Vía Complutense. Detours have not been detailed at this time, although alternative routes are recommended.

The Alcalá de Henares City Council has apologised for the inconvenience and appreciates the understanding and cooperation of citizens during the development of the works.
