The roadworks for a temporary roundabout have forced the closure of the exit towards Madrid via the Cuesta de la Reina. It is recommended to use the West exit via the Paseo del Deleite.
The General Directorate of Roads of the Community of Madrid has informed the City Council of Aranjuez about an unexpected closure on the provisional exit from the Cuesta de la Reina heading towards Madrid, due to roadworks for the construction of a temporary roundabout aimed at mitigating the effects of the sinkhole that appeared last week.
Today, September 7, residents are advised to use the West exit via the extension of the Paseo del Deleite, next to Cortefiel, to head to the capital.
The provisional exit via the Cuesta de la Reina is expected to be restored this evening.
