The works at the Eras Cerradas Sports Centre and the reform of the Dehesa de los Godonales Sports Centre are progressing well in Valdemorillo. In a month, the municipality will open a car park with 23 spaces in the urban centre.
The municipality of Valdemorillo is facing the final stretch of summer with several ongoing projects aimed at improving public services. The works on the access to the Eras Cerradas Sports Centre and the IES Valmayor are continuing to fully prepare one of the areas with the highest user traffic.
The reform of the Dehesa de los Godonales Sports Centre is also nearing completion. The changing rooms are almost finished, and the football pitch and athletics track are already showing their new look. Work on the tennis and paddle courts will begin shortly.
In the urban centre, the site of the former slaughterhouse, which has already been demolished, is being prepared to become a car park with 23 spaces. It is expected to be available in about a month, which will ease parking in the area.
These actions are part of an improvement plan that the Valdemorillo Town Hall has been implementing throughout the summer, aiming to have the facilities ready for the upcoming school year and autumn sports activities.
