The municipality unveils a facility for urban sports with hours from 9:30 to 22:30. The project has been co-financed by the Community of Madrid.

On August 5, Cobeña will launch its new municipal Pump Track and Skatepark, a facility designed for cycling, skating, scootering, and other urban activities. The venue, co-financed by the Community of Madrid through the 2022-2026 Regional Investment Programme, will open its doors with extensive hours: every day from 9:30 to 22:30.

The new infrastructure aims to provide residents, especially the younger ones, with a space for socialising and outdoor physical activity. The Cobeña City Council highlights that the facility reinforces the municipal commitment to creating spaces for coexistence and sports in the municipality.

The council has called on users to enjoy the facilities responsibly, respecting the rules of use and other athletes to ensure a safe and pleasant coexistence. The opening hours, from 9:30 to 22:30, will allow for the enjoyment of both sunny hours and the evening.

With this opening, Cobeña joins the network of municipalities in the region that have facilities for urban sports. The investment is part of the 2022-2026 Regional Investment Programme of the Community of Madrid, which has co-financed the project.

Entry will be free and no prior registration is required. Interested individuals can go directly to the venue starting August 5 to try out the new tracks.
