The Town Hall of Manzanares el Real has published the provisional lists of accepted participants for the sports activities of the 2026-2027 season. Interested parties can check if they have been accepted or if they are on the waiting list, as well as the available spots for new registrations in September.
The Town Hall of Manzanares el Real has announced the provisional lists of accepted participants for the upcoming 2026-2027 sports activities. Residents can now verify if their application has been accepted, if they are on the waiting list, or if, on the contrary, it has been cancelled.
Additionally, the council has informed which activities and groups still have available spots for the new registration period, which will open from September 1 to 6, inclusive. This information is crucial for those who did not secure a spot or wish to join a new activity.
The Sports Department warns that the lists are provisional and may change due to voluntary or official withdrawals. Therefore, they remind that the only official lists will be those published on September 18, 2026.
One of the aspects that generates the most questions is the criteria for being considered a former student. According to operating rule number 5, this status is only granted to those who have remained in the same municipal activity for a minimum of six uninterrupted months in the previous course, and only for the activity and group they were admitted to, never for new activities or groups.
Particular attention should be paid to children's activities. If a student changes category due to age for the new course, they will not be considered a former student. For example, a child registered in under-10 basketball who moves up to under-12 loses that status, even if they attended the entire course.
If a person does not appear on the list, unless there is an error, it will be because their registration was cancelled for not completing it within the established timeframe.
